AKAM Mission is to see people with full dignity living in a state of peace and harmony with themselves and their nature.
Our Mission
AKAM Vision is tto enable resource-poor rural families attain food and livelihoods security through:
- creating and strengthening community structures;
- training relevant actors and local partners in nutrition-sensitive and climate-resilient agricultural practices; and
- knowledge building through knowledge sharing and networking among local communities, government agencies, and development organizations.
Our Values
AKAM’s operations are guided by the following values: participation, accountability for results, action-learning, integrated approaches, genuine need and justice, improving the environment, meaningful partnership, and transparency.
Our Target Groups
The target groups of AKAM are poor men and women adults, youth and children who are disadvantaged and marginalized and lack basic socio-economic services.
